Zimbabwe vice-captain Marshall Munetsi will be unavailable for the Warriors’ 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Benin on September 5 due to suspension.
Although initially named in the national squad for the upcoming international fixtures, the Wolves midfielder is ruled out of the first match after accumulating two yellow cards earlier in the qualifying campaign. He received cautions in the fixtures against Lesotho in June 2024 and Nigeria on March 25, 2025.
