As the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) approaches its critical final phase, Bulawayo Chiefs have announced the signing of veteran goalkeeper Wallace Magalane. The acquisition is designed to bring much-needed depth and seasoned leadership to the team’s goalkeeping department.
The club formally welcomed Magalane to their ranks through their official social media channels. “Amakhosi Amahle” expects the new addition to introduce healthy competition and provide a reliable presence in goal, aiding their efforts to turn the tide in the season’s remaining matches.
This strategic move arrives at a pivotal moment for the Bulawayo club. Following consecutive defeats in the league, most notably a 1-0 setback against FC Platinum during Week 23, the team is determined to recover and regain its momentum.
Magalane recently parted ways with CAPS United, and he now aligns with Bulawayo just in time for a challenging midweek fixture. He will be expected to contribute as the team faces league leaders Scottland FC at Rufaro Stadium, with the goal of halting their recent losing streak and securing a victory.
