Man Heartbroken After Discovering Girlfriend Faked Pregnancy and Funeral

A man from KwaZulu-Natal, Nkululeko Zulu, has been left emotionally shattered after learning that his partner, Diyana Makukeke, fabricated an entire pregnancy and staged a funeral for a baby that never existed.

Zulu, who had been fully supportive throughout the alleged pregnancy, provided financial assistance and even covered the burial costs. This included purchasing a burial plot near his family’s graves and funding the slaughter of a goat as part of traditional funeral customs.

Diyana, 44, claimed the child had passed away shortly after birth. She arranged a funeral, but refused to allow anyone to view the contents of the coffin. Zulu’s brother, suspicious of her behavior, eventually demanded the coffin be opened—only to discover a doll inside instead of a body.

The revelation has left the local community in shock, raising questions about the motive behind the elaborate deception.
