Dynamos FC stunned Scottland FC with a dramatic 3-2 victory at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon, overcoming their underdog status in a pulsating five-goal encounter.
Scottland FC, who were widely expected to dominate the fixture, started strongly. Tymon Machope opened the scoring early in the first half, expertly heading home a well-delivered free kick from veteran midfielder Knowledge Musona.
However, Dynamos quickly regrouped and responded through Shadreck Nyahwa, who leveled the score in the 49th minute, silencing the home crowd.
The visitors then seized momentum, with Vusa Ngwenya putting Dynamos ahead, capitalizing on a defensive lapse by the Scottland backline.
Scottland’s Machope returned to the spotlight, netting his second of the day to bring the score to 2-2, reigniting hopes for the hosts.
But it was Denver Mukamba, a former Scottland FC midfielder, who delivered the decisive blow against his former club.
The experienced playmaker scored the match-winning goal late in the second half, securing all three points for Dynamos.
