Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has announced plans to present Beverly Angel, the wife of GoodNews Church founder Uebert Angel, with a brand-new 2026 Rolls-Royce Ghost Facelift.
Chivayo revealed the gift in a social-media message celebrating Uebert Angel’s birthday, saying the luxury vehicle had already been fully paid for and would be delivered the following week.
In the post, Chivayo described Beverly Angel as a woman who had remained faithfully beside her husband throughout his journey and said she deserved to be celebrated.
“Your amazing wife’s brand-new 2026 Rolls-Royce Ghost Facelift will be delivered next week, fully paid for and ready for her to enjoy,” Chivayo wrote.
He said choosing a birthday present for Uebert Angel had proved more difficult because of the cleric’s business success and ability to afford many of the things he might want.
Instead, Chivayo said he would give Angel US$250,000 in cash as what he described as “birthday lunch money”.
The announcement adds to Chivayo’s reputation for making high-value gifts to well-known figures in Zimbabwe’s entertainment, sporting and religious circles. His publicised presents have frequently attracted attention on social media, where lavish vehicles and cash gifts have become a recurring feature of his public profile.
Beverly Angel, who is also known as Prophetess Beverly, is a prominent leader in GoodNews Church, formerly known as Spirit Embassy, where she serves alongside her husband.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost is one of the British marque’s best-known luxury saloons, recognised for its handcrafted interiors, advanced technology and high-end design. The exact specification and delivery arrangements for the vehicle were not disclosed in the announcement.
Chivayo’s post has generated considerable interest online, with social-media users discussing both the scale of the gift and the businessman’s continuing relationship with the Angel family.
The announcement, however, remains based on Chivayo’s public statement. No independent confirmation of the vehicle’s delivery or the cash presentation had been provided at the time of publication.
