The draw for the 2025 Chibuku Super Cup was conducted on Thursday, July 24, setting the stage for Zimbabwe’s premier knockout football competition.
The preliminary round will feature the bottom four teams from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League standings after Week 17. These teams will battle for a place in the next phase of the tournament.
In the opening fixtures, Dynamos will face Yadah at Ngoni Stadium on August 6, while Triangle United will go head-to-head with Kwekwe United at Mandava Stadium on August 7. Both matches will kick off at 3 PM CAT.
Victors from these encounters will proceed to the first round, where they’ll join the top 14 teams in the league. These matches are scheduled for August 9 and 10.
The 2025 edition of the Chibuku Super Cup will carry a total prize purse of US$350,000. The tournament winner will receive US$75,000, while the runner-up will take home US$50,000. Remaining funds will be awarded to the other teams based on how far they advance.
