Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League to Take Break for FIFA International Window

The Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (PSL) will pause for an international break from March 17, 2025, resuming action on March 29. This was confirmed by PSL acting Chief Executive Officer Rodwell Thabe in a statement to NewZimbabwe.com.

The break coincides with FIFA’s official international window, allowing national teams to participate in scheduled fixtures. During this period, Zimbabwe’s senior men’s team, the Warriors, will be in action for their upcoming matches. The squad for these fixtures was announced on Wednesday by head coach, Knowledge Musona, who recently reversed his decision to retire from international football.

The Warriors are set to play two crucial encounters, including a return to the FIFA international stage. The break will allow locally based players called up for the national team to join the camp and prepare for their matches against international opponents.

The Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League will resume action on March 29, 2025, following the conclusion of the international window.
