Wicknell Chivayo Surprises Jah Prayzah with $150K and Luxury Car to Mark Album Launch

Business mogul Wicknell Chivayo has honored musician Jah Prayzah with a brand-new 2025 Range Rover Autobiography and a hefty US$150,000 cash gift following the launch of his new album Ndini Mukudzei.

Chivayo made the grand gesture public through his social media platforms, praising Jah Prayzah as one of Zimbabwe’s most exceptional musical talents. The album launch, held over the weekend, drew thousands of fans and widespread praise for the 14-track release.

Reflecting on Jah Prayzah’s journey, Chivayo expressed admiration for the artist’s growth—from early hits like Gochi Gochi and Ndinotsvaga Mariah to the national anthem Kutonga Kwaro. He hailed the artist and his Third Generation Band for delivering what he called “yet another masterpiece.”

“You’ve once again proven your brilliance. Today, I celebrate you as a phenomenal and uniquely talented musician,” Chivayo wrote, emphasizing his pride in the artist’s achievements.

Fulfilling a promise he had made earlier this year, Chivayo confirmed that Jah Prayzah could collect his fully paid-for luxury vehicle from Exquisite Motors.

He also handed over US$150,000 in cash—symbolically linked to an online pledge he made to donate a dollar for every negative comment Jah Prayzah received after thanking Chivayo publicly. The post reportedly drew 150,000 comments.
