HARARE, Zimbabwe – The spiritual atmosphere in the capital is reaching a fever pitch as the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) prepares to host two of the world’s most influential gospel voices. American luminaries Naomi Raine and Todd Galberth are officially returning to the Zimbabwean stage this Friday, March 13, for what is expected to be the gospel event of the year.
This visit follows their massive success in 2024 during the Maverick City Music tour, a performance that remains etched in the memories of local worshippers. This Friday’s showcase, however, promises a more intimate yet powerful celebration of faith and artistry.
A Fusion of Global and Local Talent
In a move to celebrate the strength of the domestic gospel industry, the concert features a robust lineup of Zimbabwe’s finest acts. Joining the international headliners are:
-
Janet Manyowa
-
The Unveiled
-
Ellard and Sharon Cherayi
-
Cleo Arie
Lyncolin Kapswara, the Event Director at Events by GEC, confirmed that preparations are in the final stages to ensure a seamless experience for the thousands expected to attend.
“We are fully prepared to host what we believe will be a transformative experience for everyone involved,” Kapswara stated. “We chose these local artists not only for their talent but also for their ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Attendees can expect heartfelt performances that bridge the gap between local culture and the international gospel movement.”
