Funeral services group Doves Holdings has invested US$10 million towards the introduction of new products and the enhancement of its service delivery systems as part of a broader growth and modernisation strategy.
The funding is being used to roll out new offerings, including the recently launched Prestige Plan, while also supporting branch refurbishments, fleet expansion and a major digital transformation programme across the company’s operations.
Group Public Relations Manager Innocent Tshuma said the Prestige Plan was developed to cater for executives and premium clients seeking customised and high-end funeral services.
“The Prestige Plan is tailored for clients who require a more detailed and personalised send-off, particularly those in executive and high-end brackets,” said Tshuma.
In addition to product innovation, the company has prioritised improvements to its physical and digital infrastructure to enhance service efficiency and accessibility, particularly for clients in the diaspora.

“We are upgrading our branches and have made substantial investments in digital platforms to ensure seamless service delivery, especially as we expand our diaspora subscriptions,” he said.
As part of its capital expansion programme, Doves has achieved a continental first by becoming the first African funeral services provider to acquire two Irizar i6s Super Luxury coaches. The group has also strengthened its fleet with additional vehicles and specialised equipment to support its expanding operations.
Tshuma said the company had acquired 35 new Toyota Hilux vehicles fitted with mobile sleeper and shower units, as well as water bowsers and other specialised equipment aimed at improving service standards.
“These assets are critical in supporting our premium products and ensuring we deliver the highest level of service to our clients,” he said.

Doves Holdings is one of Zimbabwe’s leading funeral assurance and burial services providers, with an extensive branch network locally and within the diaspora. The company continues to invest in premium offerings, fleet growth and digital solutions as it consolidates its position in the local and regional funeral services market.
