Several war veterans across the provinces have seen boreholes being drilled and houses being built under the Presidential War Veterans Empowerment program.
The empowerment program is being spearheaded by Presidential advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara.
Apart from the empowerment initiative, government has launched War Veterans Welfare Fund where US$1.5 million has been disbursed across the ten provinces.
Below is the list of the first batch of beneficiaries:
