Six soldiers from the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) have gone missing during a training exercise in Nyanga, with reports suggesting they disappeared while carrying AK-47 rifles.
The situation is still unfolding, and authorities have not yet released an official statement.
The Commander of the Border Camp in Nyanga has confirmed the incident but stated that no additional information could be shared at this time.
He emphasized that any media comments should be directed to the ZNA Public Relations office.
Currently, the ZNA is conducting an internal investigation into the disappearance, and the public is advised to await further updates from the army.
No details have been disclosed about the soldiers’ whereabouts or the events leading to their disappearance.
