Scottland FC’s Getty Majama Appointed Warriors Supporters Vice Secretary General

Scottland FC Supporters President, Edith “Getty” Majama, has been appointed as the Vice Secretary General of Zimbabwe Warriors Supporters.

Majama is one of the few women taking up leadership roles in sports, breaking stereotypes.

She has been leading a large number of supporters from Scottland FC, coordinating from Mabvuku to match-day venues. Majama has served as President since Scottland FC was in the Northern Region League. She and her fellow supporters played a crucial role as the 12th man when Scottland FC gained promotion to the PSL.

She is undoubtedly one of the best in her role. Reacting to her appointment, she expressed her gratitude to Honorable Pedzai ”Scott” Sakupwanya for believing in her, which has led to her appointment to the National Association Supporters Committee.

Majama travelled with the warriors for their Afcon Qualifiers in South Africa where they beat Kenya to qualify for AFCON 2025 to be held in Morocco.

The Warriors are set to face Benin in South Africa in a week and a win for the Warriors would boost their chances of qualifying for the World CUP play offs.
