Harare Province will this year stage the Chibuku Road to Fame national finals, set for Gwanzura Stadium in Highfield on October 4, 2025.

Ten musical groups from across the country will compete for the coveted prize, with eight already confirmed from provincial contests held since August 23. These include six Afro-fusion bands — Mnenga Band (Manicaland), Afro Pulse (Masvingo), Simuniziva (Matabeleland North), Core Vibes (Midlands), All in One (Mashonaland West), and Dab Band (Bulawayo).

They will be joined by Bolamba Culture Birds of Matabeleland South (Traditional Contemporary) and Jungle Foxes (Sungura).

Organisers announced that preparations were nearing completion, noting that Harare and Mashonaland Central will soon hold their finals to complete the lineup.

“This year’s edition is particularly special as it marks 25 years of unearthing and nurturing musical talent in partnership with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe,” the organisers said.

The grand finale is expected to feature a full day of entertainment, with performances from the competing groups and established guest artists, running from 10am until late.
