DJ Fantan’s Ex-Wife Opens Up About Abuse, Explains Why She Fled to South Africa

Gamu Nemukuyu, DJ Fantan’s former wife, has opened up about the emotional and psychological abuse she endured during their marriage.

She shared that the constant strain from her ex-husband significantly affected her mental health, leading her to flee with their children to South Africa for a fresh start.

In her statement, Gamu explained that she could no longer tolerate the emotional pain inflicted by DJ Fantan. She described his intrusive calls, often at odd hours, which were disguised as concerns for their children, but were merely attempts to control her. She also recalled how he would show up uninvited, pretending to check on the kids, but would start arguments instead.

Despite the pain of their separation, Gamu chose not to publicly criticize DJ Fantan or interfere with his new marriage. However, she revealed the frustration she felt over his refusal to support their child’s medical needs, even when they were in dire need of help.

Living under his control became unbearable for Gamu, who reached a breaking point when she realized that the toxic environment was not suitable for her children. She made the difficult decision to leave for South Africa, seeking peace and safety away from the constant turmoil.

Gamu’s decision to relocate was final, as she acknowledged that no legal action would change her circumstances. She expressed relief in knowing that her family is now in a safer and more stable environment.
