Viral Video: Nigerian Bishop Sparks Controversy After Kissing Junior Pastor During Ordination

A video of a Nigerian bishop has gone viral after he was seen kissing a junior pastor following an ordination ceremony.

In the widely circulated footage, the bishop is seen pouring oil on the junior pastor’s head while pronouncing words of blessing.

After completing the ordination, the bishop pours water into the junior pastor’s mouth. Once the pastor swallows the water, he sticks out his tongue and moves it toward the bishop’s tongue.

The two repeatedly engage in the act while onlookers cheer. Afterward, the junior pastor rises from where he was kneeling, and other pastors congratulate him.

In Africa, same-sex marriage is prohibited as it goes against the principles of ubuntu. The video has sparked widespread debate, with many netizens condemning the act, especially since it involves religious leaders.

Meanwhile, in Zimbabwe, Pastor Makandiwa has reignited the Battle of Mount Carmel challenge by inviting any pastor who claims to hear from God to attend his church service on Sunday and prophesy what will be in his pocket.

He has offered to pay anyone who gets the prophecy correct a sum of one million United States Dollars.
