Mount Darwin’s football scene has reached new heights after Agama Football Club clinched the Northern Region Division One title, earning their first-ever promotion to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL).
The decisive moment came on the final day of the season when Agama cruised to a 4–0 victory over FC Oden, overtaking long-time table leaders N’ombeyawora, who fell 1–0 to MWOS U-19.
Guided by Coach Paul Chimalizeni, Agama completed the campaign without a single defeat in 24 matches, a remarkable achievement that secured them a place among Zimbabwe’s football elite and brought top-flight action to Mount Darwin for the very first time.
Agama join FC Hunters, Hadrock, and Bulawayo Chiefs as the four newly promoted sides set to compete in the Premier Soccer League next season.
