The country’s largest beverage producer, Castle Lager is set to mark a decade of the National Braai Festival on 18 October 2025, an event that has been a fixture on the national calendar attracting thousands of attendees.
The fete celebrates unique blend of music, beer, and the country’s love for “braai” (barbecue) culture will also coincide with a series launch of 10 Micro Castle Lager Braai events across key cities in Zimbabwe.
The micro-events taking place over consecutive weekends, aims to bring communities together through live performances by local artists and DJs, interactive entertainment, and the distinctive Castle Lager experience.
In a statement, Delta Corporation marketing director, Mr Irimayi Muzorewa said that the National Braii Festival was a unique experience that connects music and beer lovers at the same time bringing families together.
“This celebration is about connecting with our consumers and giving them the Castle Lager braai experience, a tradition that has lasted ten years and continues to unite friends and families across the country,” said Mr Muzorewa.
In a community-focused initiative, Castle Lager will donate 10 modern hospital beds to local hospitals in each city hosting a micro braai, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting Zimbabwean communities.
The micro-events will culminate in a grand celebration at Glamis Arena in Harare on 18 October, featuring a vibrant mix of music, food, and entertainment, reflecting the spirit of togetherness that has defined the Castle Lager Braai over the past decade.
The festival also celebrates Castle Lager’s 130 years of brewing heritage, showcasing the brand’s long-standing connection with Zimbabweans and its commitment to shared experiences.
