Two Women Killed Over Infidelity
Two women were allegedly killed by their enraged partners’ in separate incidents in Nyanga and Muzarabani, with allegations of infidelity reportedly being the motive.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the tragic incidents saying one them has since been brought to book while police are hunting down the other suspect.
“On 23 July 2025, ZRP Nyanga arrested Shingirai Ngwena (32) in connection with a case of murder in which he allegedly killed his girlfriend, Enet Chirozva (27), in Bondana Village after a domestic dispute over allegations of infidelity” said Commissioner Nyathi.
In another case he said police is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Jealous Chikwerekwere (37).
“He is being sought in connection with a murder case in which he fatally assaulted his wife, Polite Melisa Mabhifi (31), with a log at Kademo Village, Muzarabani, on 23/07/25, over allegations of infidelity.”
