Prominent Harare businesswoman and Shawashi Agri Private Limited managing director, Lillian Nyamasoka, heaved a sigh of relief after all fabricated fraud charges against her were withdrawn by Harare magistrate Mrs. Appollonia Marutya.
This comes after her enemies allegedly fabricated cases against her in a bid to tarnish her business image.
The State was compelled to withdraw charges against Nyamasoka after failing to present any evidence linking the businesswoman to fraud.
Investigations revealed that Nyamasoka was brought to court on matters that were not thoroughly investigated, reportedly due to pressure from her business rivals. Mrs. Marutya subsequently withdrew all fraud allegations, leaving Nyamasoka a free woman.
