Saviour Kasukuwere Reacts to Prophet Makandiwa’s Latest Prophecy

Former Zanu PF member Saviour Kasukuwere has commented on the viral sermon given by Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, which has sparked significant discussion across social media platforms.

In his sermon, Makandiwa issued a challenge, offering a US$1 million cash prize for anyone who could disprove his prophecies, which included a reference to the 2017 military coup in Zimbabwe.

Makandiwa’s sermon centered aroud his philosophy of prophecy, stating that revelations are often tailored to the beliefs and expectations of his audience. He clarified that he does not provide prophecies for events far in the future, instead offering more immediate predictions.

He explained, “The prophecies we give are about things happening now. We wait until we are close to elections, rallies, and then we share what we see. We won’t tell you about events like Trump becoming president 20 years ago because you wouldn’t understand.”

Makandiwa further recalled a conversation where he allegedly warned Saviour Kasukuwere about his imminent expulsion from Zanu PF, a prophecy that Kasukuwere initially dismissed. Makandiwa described telling Kasukuwere that he would eventually flee the country and that Zanu PF would turn against him. The Prophet recalled Kasukuwere’s disbelief, asking who would have the power to expel him from the party.

In response, Kasukuwere took to social media to acknowledge the accuracy of Makandiwa’s prophecy. He tweeted, “Powerful sermon by Pastor Makandiwa. He prophesied the coup in detail, though I’m not sure about the tie part 😂.”

However, not all reactions were positive. Many social media users criticized Makandiwa’s credibility, with some questioning whether his prophecies were truly divine or simply the result of logical analysis and political insight.

One user wrote, “He’s just a political analyst hiding behind religion,” while another questioned, “Was that really prophecy, or just logical observation of what was bound to happen?”

While some praised Makandiwa’s ability to predict political events, others dismissed him as just another figure seeking to capitalize on the political situation. This mix of reactions highlights the ongoing debate about the role of prophets in politics and the weight of their influence on public perception.
