NetOne has marked its 30th anniversary with a special data promotion that gives customers 60GB for 30 days at a cost of US$30.
The promotion, dubbed 30ForYou, consists of 30GB of anytime data and an additional 30GB of off-peak data. The offer is intended to give customers more data as the telecommunications company celebrates three decades of connecting Zimbabweans.
NetOne said the promotion reflects the changing role of mobile connectivity, which has evolved from being mainly a tool for calls and text messages into an important platform for education, business, agriculture, entertainment and social interaction.
Under the campaign, customers can use the additional data to access online learning platforms, conduct business, communicate with family and friends, and participate in the digital economy.
The company said 30ForYou was also a way of thanking the millions of customers who have supported NetOne throughout its 30-year journey.
“Thirty years calls for more,” the company said in its anniversary message, positioning the promotion as both a customer benefit and a celebration of its contribution to Zimbabwe’s growing digital landscape.
