Man Claims Wife Is Kicking Him Out Over New Lovers

A former police officer alleges that his wife is forcing him out of their home after he discovered she was involved with multiple men.

Jacob Mushunje claims his wife, Zvikomborero Paungani, has been unfaithful and is now trying to remove him from their home. However, Zvikomborero denies ever being married to Jacob, insisting they were only in a relationship.

“Jacob was never my husband, he was just my boyfriend,” she said. “I am not married. We broke up, and he never took a loan to marry me.” She then ended the call.

Jacob, however, maintains that they were indeed married and urged verification from her family members, including her brothers Abel and Ngoni, and her aunt, known as Aunty Chigova.

He alleges that Zvikomborero has had multiple relationships since they got married and often portrays herself as single in public.

“Our problems started after she got a job. We had been working on projects together after I retired, but things changed. She sometimes brings her boyfriends home and introduces them to me as her uncles,” he claimed.

Jacob further alleged that she once picked him up from work in the company of one of her lovers, identified as Bluet Chiza.

“On January 1, she didn’t come home. She returned the next morning drunk, and when I questioned her, she insulted me. At times, I even found used condoms in the house, which raised my suspicions,” he said.

He added that he tried to address the issue with her, but she ignored his concerns.

“This is not my first marriage, so I was trying to make it work. However, she went to one of our mines with her boyfriend, and the workers called to inform me.”

The dispute continues, with both parties standing their ground regarding the nature of their relationship.
